SHIFT AI, operating Japan's top generative AI learning community with over 40,000 members, announced its participation in the 'Fukuoka 100 PARTNERS' project. As the first initiative, the company will conduct 'Generative AI Courses for Seniors' starting May 23, 2026. The program targets Fukuoka residents aged 50 and older and will roll out sequentially across all seven 'Fukuoka 100 Plaza' locations in the city during fiscal year 2026. This initiative aims to help seniors utilize AI to enrich their lives, discover new purposes, and foster social participation like volunteering or re-employment. Additionally, SHIFT AI aims to bridge the regional gap in AI education and establish a sustainable 'multi-generational coexistence model' from Fukuoka to the rest of Japan. Applications will be accepted through the city's official newsletter, 'Shisei Tayori.'
