Survey: 96% of Companies Feel Employees' Rising Food Costs Amid Inflation

A survey by Heart Happiness Holdings revealed that 96.4% of HR professionals feel employees are burdened by rising food costs due to inflation. While 64.5% of companies already provide meal subsidies, 91.8% cited the administrative burden of calculation and management as a significant barrier to implementation. Regarding budgets, over 80% of respondents consider a monthly cost of under 30,000 JPY to be realistic. Leveraging these findings, the company promotes its 'Offmeshi' service, a low-cost office pantry solution that requires no construction and minimal management. This service aims to help companies improve employee satisfaction and retention within limited budgets, addressing the dual challenges of inflation and administrative overhead.
