[Synopsis] Kimi-chan and Shiromi-chan live inside the same egg, dreaming of the day they will become chicks. But one day, Kimi-chan shouts, "I'm tired of this cramped place!" and jumps out of the egg.

[From the Editor] Kimi-chan believes in the day they will become chicks together with Shiromi-chan. Although Kimi-chan runs away out of frustration, it eventually returns to the egg, its safe "home." But what is the shocking truth that awaits Kimi-chan there? What is life? What does it mean to live? This is a book we hope you will keep by your side as a "first encounter with a book about life."
