The urban outdoor culture festival "MTG ~ Ma-ii Kara Tekitou ni Groove ~", first held in Sapporo's Sumikawa area in 2025, has been confirmed to take place on Saturday, July 4th, and Sunday, July 5th, 2026.

This event was born as a culture festival where music, art, food and drink, and workshops intersect, centered around artists active in Sapporo.

In 2026, approximately 40 artists are scheduled to perform from Hokkaido and beyond, with appearances also planned from the Tokyo and Kansai regions.

A Space Where Cultures Intersect, Not Just Music

MTG is not just a music event; a major characteristic is that it is a place where various cultures intersect.

Last year, a skate ramp was set up at the venue, providing a space for visitors to skate freely. Additionally, vendors from diverse genres such as vintage clothing stores, pilates studios, and illustrators gathered.

In 2026, approximately 30 shops and artists are scheduled to exhibit, allowing visitors to experience culture in their own style.

It's an experience that engages all five senses, from enjoying shopping and physical activities to appreciating art, beyond just listening to music.

During the 2025 event, a natural flow emerged where attendees would enjoy the music at the venue, then move to restaurants in the Sumikawa area for meals, and return to the venue.
