New Color Announcement
These are the new colors for ENNE ZERO! Additionally, the rear box, a culmination of technology, has been made 40% thinner than the prototype, resulting in a stylish and lightweight design.
We will sell the ENNE ZERO, which competes on functionality, in limited quantities at a special price exclusive to the pre-sale. Because it is a highly anticipated model, it is first-come, first-served. Please do not miss this opportunity.
As awareness of traffic rules increases, more people are looking to reconsider their daily means of transportation. ENNE ZERO is a new mobility solution that combines comfort, fun, and practicality. You can aim to improve electricity efficiency by pedaling for exercise, or you can travel relaxedly using mainly the accelerator. The ability to choose how to ride according to the scene or your mood is a major appeal.
Adopting a unique direct-connected pedal system, ENNE ZERO is a specified moped that realizes an unprecedented riding experience. It makes traveling in hot seasons and riding on slopes more comfortable. We propose it as a new standard, a vehicle that turns daily transportation itself into a joy.
The main notable specifications of ENNE ZERO are as follows. For the tire size, we adopted 14 inches, emphasizing ease of handling and tight turning performance in city riding. Starting with this model, a 48V battery has been adopted, making it more powerful. The frame is based on the X303 frame of the ENNE T600GR but has evolved into a smarter and more sophisticated design.
Please note that the rear box in the published photos is a prototype specification and has a somewhat rugged impression, but the product version will adopt a wave fin design, resulting in a more compact and highly perfected finish.
Furthermore, the controller installed in ENNE ZERO has high performance comparable to a 3kW class electric motorcycle and is designed to be compatible with the unique 'ZERO System'.

ENNE ZERO is a new mobility solution that solves all three major issues of specified mopeds: 'hill-climbing ability', 'cruising range', and 'driving when the battery is dead', and is even envisioned to be used as an alternative to electric assist bicycles with a 1:5 assist ratio.
ENNE ZERO is the only vehicle that can be ridden without a license, using both the accelerator and pedals.
Since specified small mopeds have a restriction that they must not exceed 20km/h, attaching pedals presented considerable technical difficulties, but the convenience of having driving pedals is immeasurable, and we have succeeded in solving the three major issues that can be said to affect almost all specified mopeds currently on sale.

Technical Issues Solved by ENNE ZERO
The pedals of ENNE ZERO are not input devices for power generation. They are designed as a driving mechanism that uses the force of human pedaling directly to drive the wheels.
The important thing in establishing this configuration as a specified moped is how to establish the 20km/h upper limit in a drive system with driving pedals. ENNE ZERO has proceeded with development with a policy of simultaneously designing the vehicle structure and control logic to address this issue.
In the current specifications of ENNE ZERO, dynamic braking is adopted as one of the core technologies supporting the 20km/h upper limit control.
What our company emphasized was not to complete speed management only on the motor output side. Since human power is added to the drive in the driving pedal structure, the design of the speed upper limit must be established including the control on the braking side. Based on this concept, ENNE ZERO adopted a vehicle design incorporating dynamic braking. The dynamic braking in ENNE ZERO is a type of electromagnetic brake. It naturally suppresses the speed to 20km/h with a smooth sensation. Of course, it is not an uncomfortable structure that suddenly bites hard.
The control of the dynamic brake is handled by the AI equipped with the ENNE ZERO system. The AI plays the following roles:
- Comprehensively judges vehicle speed, pedal rotation, driving status, and power status - Calculates the control amount necessary to maintain the 20km/h upper limit - Optimizes the intervention amount of the dynamic brake - When the power is off, activates the wake-up function triggered by driving detection and starts up the necessary systems - Maintains the control state of functions necessary for compliance with safety standards
Through the work of this AI, it senses the intention to accelerate and the strength of acceleration, calculates the optimal braking force, and performs smooth speed suppression. When you hear that the brake is applied, you might think it decelerates, but that is not the case; to be precise, it is more like an acceleration suppression device. With the leg strength of a general rider, it is released almost instantly, so the vehicle speed practically does not drop.
You can return even if the battery is dead. It doesn't end there.
The anxiety of a specified moped becomes reality all at once the moment the battery runs out. Once the battery is gone, all you can do is push the heavy vehicle home. Because of this anxiety, it is hard to expand the range of action. People hesitate to purchase. There are quite a few such people. ENNE ZERO faced this anxiety head-on. Because it is equipped with driving pedals, the idea of continuing to move by pedaling even when the battery level is low was included from the beginning.
This is where the wake-up function and the ENNE ZERO system AI come into play. When it detects the vehicle is moving, it activates the necessary control systems and starts up the control states required for vehicle speed management and safety functions.
In other words, ENNE ZERO is not just a vehicle that 'can be pedaled'. It is a vehicle designed so you can return home. This difference becomes effective after you own it, rather than just reading the catalog.
It doesn't stop on slopes. You don't have to push it up. That becomes its value.
Conventional specified mopeds were convenient on flat ground but tended to cause dissatisfaction on slopes. On slightly steep slopes, the speed drops, and in severe cases, the thought of pushing it crosses your mind. For use in the city, this was a fairly major weakness.
ENNE ZERO does not leave this weakness as it is. By creating a structure that allows human power to be added with driving pedals without relying solely on the accelerator, it makes it easier to continue moving even on slopes. The value of ENNE ZERO is not about running up slopes quickly. It's about not stopping on slopes. Not having to push. The journey not ending there. As a vehicle used every day, we believe this difference is very significant.
Cruising range goes to infinity
The energy source for specified mopeds is usually only the battery. The driving force also depends solely on electricity. Therefore, if you wanted to extend the cruising range, there was no other way than to make the battery larger. However, because ENNE ZERO extends to a cruising range comparable to an electric assist bicycle, it extends significantly compared to other companies with the same battery capacity.
Until now, there were almost no specified mopeds that could be a proper 'electric assist alternative'
The reason why specified mopeds could not fully replace electric assist bicycles until now is clear. It is because a specified moped equipped with pedals that actually drive, not just for looks, was technically almost non-existent. Electric mobility other than specified mopeds could certainly be an alternative, but the reality was that they could not be a true alternative because a license and helmet were mandatory.
A specified moped is a vehicle established within the 20km/h upper limit where no license is required and wearing a helmet is a duty to make an effort. Under these conditions, if you try to establish pedals that actually turn the wheels with the force stepped on by a person, simply attaching pedals is not enough. Since human power enters the drive, motor control alone is not enough. Unless speed management, braking, control when the power is off, and safety functions are designed together, it will not reach a level where it can be used safely in daily life. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has also clearly stated that specified small motorized bicycles are defined by the 20km/h upper limit system.
Because of this wall, the 'pedal-equipped' models on the market so far were for power generation, just for looks, or insufficient for serious daily use. In other words, they could not fully become the 'alternative with a strong assist feeling' that electric assist bicycle users really wanted.
ENNE ZERO is a vehicle designed to break through that. Driving pedals, ENNE ZERO system AI, dynamic braking, wake-up function. By establishing these four together, we are aiming for the first 'properly usable pedal-equipped specified moped'.
The main character this time is not the accelerator. It's the 1:5 assist.
Since ENNE ZERO is a specified moped, driving with the accelerator is also possible. But that is not what we seriously want to promote this time.
What was wanted was not the accelerator, but a stronger assist. ENNE steps into that head-on.
What we are newly announcing this time is the '1:5 assist' concept, aiming for an assist feeling equivalent to 5 for 1 human power. This is not a story about competing for speed. It is a challenge of how far we can push the experience of easy starting, easy slopes, and easy riding even with luggage in the practical speed range up to 20km/h.
Electric assist bicycles are convenient. But in reality, you use your legs on slopes, you have to work hard to re-accelerate, and it suddenly becomes exhausting when you have luggage. Many people must have felt, 'It doesn't have to be fast, just push me more.'
ENNE ZERO goes to provide an answer to that. A vehicle chosen for its assist feeling, not its speed. That is the position of ENNE ZERO.
20km/h is practical enough. In fact, it's just right in the city.
'Isn't 20km/h too slow as a replacement for a bicycle?' This question naturally arises. But the reality in the city has already produced numbers. In actual driving surveys in Japan, the average speed of bicycles was 14.6km/h for students/adults and 11.4km/h for young children/elderly. In other words, bicycle use in the city is not a world where full cruising at 20km/h is the norm in the first place. There are traffic lights. There are intersections. There are pedestrians. You stop and start again. In such a city, the lightness of starting, the ease of re-acceleration, and not stalling on slopes are far more directly linked to satisfaction than the top speed number.
Moreover, from April 1, 2026, a blue ticket system will be introduced for bicycles as well, and examples of violations will include traffic lane violations (wrong-way driving, riding on sidewalks, etc.). The feeling of 'I can just escape to the sidewalk' like before will become even harder to use in the future.
Therefore, ENNE ZERO is not a vehicle for showing off speed. It is a vehicle to make traveling up to 20km/h much easier than before.
What should be aimed for with small-diameter tires of 14 inches or 16 inches is not high-speed cruising. It is agility in the city, ease of handling, and the experience of 'This is easier than I thought.' ENNE ZERO swings fully in that direction. *20km/h on 14-inch or 16-inch tires might actually be faster than normal.
ENNE ZERO will appeal to these people
ENNE ZERO is suitable for the following people:
- People who want to make traveling to the station or short-distance commuting much easier - People in hilly areas who feel unsatisfied with their current electric assist bicycles - People who want to make starting and climbing slopes easier even on days with a lot of luggage - People who want to travel without worrying too much about the remaining battery level - People who seek a strong assist feeling rather than speed or an accelerator
ENNE ZERO is not just a specified moped with pedals attached. Strong on slopes. Can return even if the battery is dead. Makes traveling up to 20km/h easier. It is a vehicle that seriously goes after this value that seems obvious but was not.
We will nurture ENNE ZERO not as an extension of conventional specified mopeds, but as a new proposal that steps into the needs that electric assist bicycles could not fully satisfy.
