As awareness of traffic rules increases, there are growing voices wanting to reconsider their daily means of transportation. ENNE ZERO is new mobility that combines comfort, enjoyment, and practicality. It's possible to aim for improved electricity consumption while exercising by pedaling, or to travel leisurely using the accelerator. The ability to choose how to ride according to the scene or mood is also a major appeal.

ENNE ZERO, with its unique direct-drive pedal system, is a specific light electric motorcycle that offers an unprecedented riding experience. It makes travel in hot weather and uphill rides more comfortable. It proposes a new standard as a vehicle that turns everyday travel into enjoyment.

The main specifications to note for ENNE ZERO are as follows. For the tire size, 14 inches were chosen to prioritize ease of handling and maneuverability in urban environments. This model adopts a 48V battery, making it more powerful. While based on the X303 frame of the ENNE T600GR, the frame has evolved into a smarter and more refined design.

Furthermore, the rear box shown in the photos is a prototype specification and has a somewhat rugged appearance. However, the production version will feature a wave fin design, resulting in a more compact and polished finish.

Additionally, the controller mounted on the ENNE ZERO boasts high performance comparable to 3kW-class electric motorcycles and is designed to be compatible with the proprietary "ZERO System."

ENNE ZERO is a new mobility that solves all three major challenges of specific light electric motorcycles: "climbing ability," "cruising range," and "riding when the battery is depleted," and is also designed as an alternative to electric assist bicycles with a 1:5 assist ratio.

ENNE ZERO is the only vehicle you can ride without a license, using either the accelerator or pedals.

Since specific light electric motorcycles are restricted to not exceed 20 km/h, adding pedals presented significant technical challenges. However, the convenience of having driving pedals is immeasurable, and we have succeeded in solving the three major challenges that affect almost all specific light electric motorcycles currently on the market.

Color Variations

Technical Challenges Solved by ENNE ZERO

The pedals on ENNE ZERO are not input devices for power generation. They are designed as a mechanism for driving the wheels, using the power of the rider's pedaling directly for propulsion.

What's crucial in establishing this configuration as a specific light electric motorcycle is how to achieve the 20 km/h speed limit with a drive system that includes driving pedals. ENNE ZERO has been developed with the policy of simultaneously designing the vehicle structure and control logic to address this challenge.

In the current specifications of ENNE ZERO, dynamic braking is employed as one of the core technologies supporting the 20 km/h speed limit control.

We emphasized not completing speed management solely on the motor output side. Because human power is added to the driving pedal structure, the design of the speed limit must include control on the braking side. ENNE ZERO adopts a vehicle design that incorporates dynamic braking based on this concept. The dynamic brake in ENNE ZERO is a type of electromagnetic brake. It naturally suppresses the speed to 20 km/h with a smooth sensation. It is, of course, not an uncomfortable structure that suddenly engages.

The AI equipped in the ENNE ZERO system is responsible for controlling the dynamic brake. The AI performs the following roles:

- Judges vehicle speed, pedal rotation, driving conditions, and power status collectively. - Calculates the control amount necessary to maintain the 20 km/h limit. - Optimizes the intervention amount of the dynamic brake. - When the power is off, it activates the wake-up function based on detecting movement and starts up the necessary systems. - Maintains the control status of functions required for compliance with safety standards.

Through the operation of this AI, it senses the intention and strength of acceleration, calculates the optimal braking force, and provides smooth speed suppression. While braking might imply deceleration, it's more accurately an acceleration suppression device. For a typical rider's leg strength, it can be released almost instantly, so the vehicle speed hardly decreases.

Ride home even with a dead battery. It doesn't end there.

The anxieties of specific light electric motorcycles become a reality the moment the battery runs out. When the battery is depleted, all you can do is push the heavy vehicle home. This anxiety limits the range of activities and deters purchases for many. ENNE ZERO directly addresses this concern. With its driving pedals, the concept of continuing to move using the pedals even when the battery is low is incorporated from the start.

This is where the wake-up function and the ENNE ZERO system AI come into play. When the vehicle detects movement, it activates the necessary control systems, establishing control states for vehicle speed management and safety functions.

In other words, ENNE ZERO is not just a vehicle that "can be pedaled." It's a vehicle designed to get you home. This difference becomes apparent not from the catalog but after ownership.

Doesn't stop on slopes. No need to push. That's the value.

While conventional specific light electric motorcycles are convenient on flat ground, they tend to be unsatisfactory on slopes. On a steep incline, the speed drops, and in severe cases, one might consider pushing it. This is a significant weakness for urban use.

ENNE ZERO does not leave this weakness unaddressed. By adding human power to the driving pedals, not relying solely on the accelerator, it makes it easier to continue moving even on slopes. The value of ENNE ZERO is not in climbing slopes quickly. It's about not stopping on slopes. Not having to push. Not having your journey end there. We believe this difference is very significant for a vehicle used daily.

Infinite Cruising Range

The energy source for specific light electric motorcycles is typically only the battery. Driving force also depends solely on electricity. Therefore, to extend the cruising range, the only option was to increase the battery size. However, ENNE ZERO's range extends to that of an electric assist bicycle, significantly longer than other companies' products with the same battery capacity.

Until now, few specific light electric motorcycles could truly replace electric assist bicycles.

The reason why specific light electric motorcycles have not been able to fully replace electric assist bicycles until now is clear. Technically, it has been extremely difficult to create a specific light electric motorcycle with truly functional driving pedals, not just for appearance. While other electric mobility devices could be alternatives, they required a license and helmet, making them not true replacements.

Specific light electric motorcycles are vehicles defined within the 20 km/h speed limit that do not require a license and have an optional helmet requirement. Within these conditions, attempting to create pedals that actually turn the wheels using human power is not as simple as just attaching pedals. Once human power is involved in driving, motor control alone is insufficient. Speed management, braking, control when the power is off, and safety functions must all be designed together to reach a level of reliability for daily use. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism clearly states that specific light electric motorcycles are defined by a 20 km/h speed limit.

Because of this barrier, "pedal-equipped" vehicles on the market until now were either for power generation, purely cosmetic, or insufficient for serious daily use. In other words, they couldn't fully provide the "strong assist feel" that electric assist bicycle users truly desired.

ENNE ZERO is a vehicle designed to break through that barrier. By integrating driving pedals, the ENNE ZERO system AI, dynamic braking, and the wake-up function, we are aiming for the first "truly usable pedal-equipped specific light electric motorcycle."

The star this time is not the accelerator. It's the 1:5 assist.

As ENNE ZERO is a specific light electric motorcycle, it can also be ridden using the accelerator. However, that is not what we are seriously promoting this time.

What was desired was not an accelerator, but stronger assistance. ENNE directly addresses this.

What we are newly announcing is the "1:5 Assist" concept, aiming for an assist feel equivalent to 5 times the human power input. This is not about competing in speed. It's about maximizing the feeling of ease in starting, climbing slopes, and carrying loads within the practical speed range up to 20 km/h.

Electric assist bicycles are convenient. But in reality, you still use your legs on slopes, work hard for re-acceleration, and it becomes difficult with luggage. Many people have probably felt, "I don't need to be fast, just push me more."

ENNE ZERO provides an answer to that. A vehicle chosen for its assist feel, not its speed. That is the positioning of ENNE ZERO.

20 km/h is perfectly practical. In fact, it's just right for city riding.

"Isn't 20 km/h too slow to replace a bicycle?" This question naturally arises. However, the reality of city riding already shows the numbers. According to actual surveys in Japan, the average speed of bicycles for students and adults is 14.6 km/h, and for young children and the elderly, it is 11.4 km/h. In other words, bicycle use in cities is not a world where cruising at 20 km/h is the norm. There are traffic lights. There are intersections. There are pedestrians. You stop and start again. In such urban environments, ease of starting, ease of re-acceleration, and not losing speed on slopes are far more directly related to satisfaction than the maximum speed.

Furthermore, from April 1, 2026, a "blue ticket" system will be introduced for bicycles, including violations such as lane violations (riding in the wrong direction, riding on sidewalks, etc.). The idea of "just escaping to the sidewalk" will become increasingly difficult.

Therefore, ENNE ZERO is not a vehicle for showing off speed. It is a vehicle to make travel up to 20 km/h much easier than before.

With small wheels like 14-inch or 16-inch, the goal is not high-speed cruising. It's agility in the city, ease of handling, and the feeling of "it's easier than I thought." ENNE ZERO is fully committed to this direction. *For 14-inch and 16-inch wheels, 20 km/h might actually be a fast speed.*

ENNE ZERO is for people like this:

ENNE ZERO is suitable for the following people:

- Those who want to make their commute to the station or short-distance travel easier.

- Those living in hilly areas who feel their current electric assist bicycle is insufficient.

- Those who want to make starting and climbing slopes easier, even on days with heavy luggage.

- Those who want to travel without worrying too much about battery levels.

- Those who seek a stronger assist feel rather than speed or acceleration.

ENNE ZERO is not just a specific light electric motorcycle with pedals attached. It's strong on slopes. It can get you home even with a dead battery. It makes travel up to 20 km/h easier. It's a vehicle that seriously aims to deliver these values, which are seemingly obvious yet have not been realized.

We are developing ENNE ZERO not as an extension of conventional specific light electric motorcycles, but as a new proposal that addresses the needs not fully met by electric assist bicycles.
