Road to TIF2026〜LAST CHANCE〜 Announced: The Final Chance for TIF Performance Rights

SHOWROOM Inc. has announced the 'Road to TIF2026〜LAST CHANCE〜' audition, where participants compete for performance rights at the 'TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2026 supported by Nishitan Clinic' within its virtual live streaming space, SHOWROOM. Since 2018, 'Road to TIF' has been a popular annual initiative providing a 'final chance' for idols aiming to perform at TIF.

This year introduces a new 'stage-based block system.' Participants will be divided into two blocks based on the stage they wish to perform on:

Outdoor Stage Block Competing for performance rights on the open-air stages characteristic of TIF.

Indoor Stage Block Competing for performance rights on indoor stages, allowing performances in front of larger audiences.

A total of 6 idol groups, selected from these blocks, will earn performance rights at TIF2026. Details regarding the stages and performance times will be announced around mid-June 2026.

A linked SHOWROOM program will also be broadcast, featuring comedian Takamasa Kubo of the duo Sanbyoshi as the MC. Excerpts of the program will be available on the official SHOWROOM YouTube channel.
