'OPUS: Prism Peak' is an adventure game themed around the phrase, "Press the shutter, and say goodbye to you." The story follows the protagonist, Eugene (Voiced by Shinichiro Miki), who wanders into the fantastical world 'Land of Bow' on his way home. Together with a mysterious, amnesiac girl named Ren (Voiced by Kana Ichinose), they embark on a journey to find their 'way home' while unraveling hidden mysteries through a camera's viewfinder.
The protagonist, Eugene, is a 40-year-old former photojournalist with a slightly cynical side. Ren is an energetic and innocent girl whose only desire is to return to the house on the mountain that towers over the Land of Bow.
The game system revolves around photography, allowing players to capture and record the world. Players will photograph beautiful landscapes and 'spirits'—animals that can speak—while gradually uncovering the world's secrets. However, the journey is not without danger, as a massive, murky red-and-black threat pursues Eugene.
