Sirius Announces 'SWIRE AURBIS', a New Category of Personal Theater Speaker with Unique Near-Ear 100mm Drivers

Sirius Inc. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ryuhei Kamei), with contributions from former SONY and Pioneer engineers, has developed a new audio category called the personal theater speaker, 'SWIRE AURBIS', with a launch scheduled for September.

While video technology has evolved significantly with 4K/8K TVs and streaming services, audio playback environments have not necessarily kept pace. Thin TVs limit large-speaker integration, while external speakers cause sound leakage and headphones cause ear fatigue.

We focused on the idea of 'bringing speakers closer to the ears.'

SWIRE AURBIS adopts a unique structure that places 100mm large-diameter speakers near the ears. This provides rich sound information and spatial expression at moderate volumes, achieving high immersion.
