JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort (Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture) will open 'JAM Terrace' on July 11, 2026 (Sat), at a viewing area approximately 1,000 meters above sea level. Located in a scenic spot overlooking the Kuzuryu River and surrounding mountains, the facility features an 'open living' concept designed by 'niko and ...' (Adastria Co., Ltd.). The project, which transitions to full-scale operations following a successful pilot in 2025, aims to provide a relaxing summer resort experience. The area includes a 'niko and ... COFFEE' food truck, the first in Fukui, serving exclusive menu items like the 'Sauce-Katsu Nikopan' (1,000 yen), 'Roast Beef Mountain Nikopan' (1,800 yen), and 'Noto Salt Gelato Caramel Nikopan' (1,200 yen). Products from the world-champion 'Marga Gelato' will also be available. Operating hours run from July 11 to October 12, 2026. Lift round-trip tickets are 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children, while hotel guests ride free. Discounts are available for visitors with tickets to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum.
