The Japan Small and Medium Business Owners Association (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director Tetsuya Ishiguro) will hold the "Subsidies and Grants Utilization Seminar 2026 in Toyama" on August 5, 2026 (Wed.) from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Toyama Prefectural Civic Center. This seminar will provide a comprehensive explanation of subsidies and grants that small and medium-sized corporations must know about, especially now with rising labor and raw material costs. It will cover everything from how to find applicable systems to practical know-how for ensuring successful applications.

Subsidies and Grants Utilization Seminar 2026 in Toyama

Lecture on the latest information on subsidy and grant systems to reduce management costs for small and medium-sized corporations.

In recent years, an increasing number of companies are facing management pressure due to rising costs of labor, raw materials, and other expenses. Amidst this situation, the national and local governments have prepared numerous support systems to encourage hiring, wage increases, and capital investment for small and medium-sized enterprises. However, the reality is that most companies are unable to utilize these valuable systems due to reasons such as "difficulty in determining which ones are applicable," "hesitation due to the perceived complexity of applications," or "not knowing who to consult." In fact, only 5.5% of companies are able to utilize subsidies and grants, creating a serious information gap where many small and medium-sized enterprises are missing out on support they are entitled to.

To reduce this gap, this seminar will explain selected subsidies and grants for small and medium-sized corporations. We have held over 100 lectures nationwide over the past year, with more than 9,000 companies participating. This time, the seminar will be held in Toyama. Taking into account future trends and local information for Toyama Prefecture, we will provide concrete measures that can be implemented immediately after the seminar.
