[Free Admission] 5 Student Groups Selected for 'Fukuoka International Student Award 2026'

The NPO International Education Support Organization Smiley Flowers (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City / Representative Director: Hironobu Kubota) has announced the university-level groups selected to present at the 'Fukuoka International Student Award 2026', to be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Across Fukuoka 7th Floor Conference Room.

This award aims to recognize activities by student groups and seminars in Fukuoka Prefecture focused on 'international' themes, thereby fostering next-generation global talent. A total of seven high school and university circles, seminars, and student groups from Fukuoka Prefecture will present their activity results on the day of the event.

1. Introduction of Presenting Groups The groups presenting at the university level are as follows:

- Seinan Gakuin University: 'Seinan Gakuin University International Dormitory RA' Acts as a Resident Assistant supporting international and Japanese students in the university's international dormitory.

- Fukuoka University: FIT CORE A volunteer group that provides academic and daily life support to international students at Fukuoka University.

- Friends International Work Camp Kyushu (FIWC Kyushu) An international cooperation student group active both domestically and internationally.

- Seinan Gakuin University: Project Emergence Group C³ A university-certified organization that plans and operates international exchange events.

- Kyushu University: IFSAQ A Kyushu University branch of an international network for students interested in forestry and sustainable forest management.

On the day, students will conduct an 8-minute presentation, and the group that receives the most empathy will be decided by votes from attendees and judges.

2. Event Overview and Call for Attendees We are recruiting high school students, university students, and professionals to attend as viewers for free.
