[Yokohama, April 14, 2026] Socionext Inc. has been awarded a "Silver" medal in the sustainability assessment by EcoVadis (Headquarters: France), a global leader in business sustainability ratings, placing it within the top 15% of all assessed companies. The company received an overall top 12% rating, particularly due to improvements in "Environment," "Ethics," and "Sustainable Procurement."

EcoVadis's sustainability assessment is based on international sustainability standards such as the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact, International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and ISO26000 standards. It is determined by four core themes: "Environment," "Labor & Human Rights," "Ethics," and "Sustainable Procurement," and 21 sustainability criteria. Since its establishment in 2007, over 150,000 companies in 185 countries and 250 industries worldwide have undergone this assessment.
