Sogo Hiroshima is set to host the 'Summer Food Festival' from Wednesday, June 17, gathering popular gourmet food from all over Japan.

This large-scale food event features 45 shops (including 8 debut appearances), offering a variety of flavors including ramen, menchi-katsu (minced meat cutlets), and soft-serve ice cream. In response to the demand for 'affordable luxury' despite rising prices, the event brings together the country's most popular gourmet experiences.

A key highlight is the ability to experience 'long-queue' restaurants that are usually only available at their local sites. Freshly prepared local specialties will be served through eat-in areas and live sales demonstrations. The vendor line-up will partially rotate between the first and second halves of the event, and daily special sales will ensure new discoveries with each visit.
