Seamless Support for Saitama Citizens' "Caregiving Challenges" Through the Fusion of Digital and Real: Opening of Consultation Service via "Saitama City Minna no App" & "Wellbio Omiya Consultation Room"

SOMPO Wellbeing Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will launch the free caregiving consultation service "Saitama Kaigo Soudan WEB by Wellbio" in collaboration with the "Saitama City Minna no App." Additionally, a new physical consultation office, "Wellbio Omiya Consultation Room," will open just a 3-minute walk from Omiya Station, the central hub of Saitama City. By combining the convenience of digital access through the app with the reassurance of in-person consultations at our physical location, we aim to strongly support the caregiving needs of residents and workers in the region.

Bridging the "Gaps in Caregiving Support" from Both Digital and Real Perspectives

As the population ages, the number of business professionals shouldering family caregiving responsibilities while working is increasing. However, traditional support systems have created gaps in care, such as "after-hours and holiday support" and "long-distance caregiving."

By linking a convenient consultation service accessible through the "Saitama City Minna no App," a vital infrastructure for citizens' lives, with a physical office where experts can directly address concerns, we aim to provide one-stop support from the early to later stages of caregiving. Our goal is to realize a society where everyone can live safely and securely, regardless of their region or circumstances.

Starting June 29, 2026, we will offer "Saitama Kaigo Soudan WEB by Wellbio," a free caregiving consultation service for Saitama City residents, accessible through the "Saitama City Minna no App." This service provides one-stop support for specific concerns ranging from preparations before caregiving begins, to facility-based care, home care, and even inheritance and end-of-life planning.

"Wellbio Life Concierges," who are qualified professionals including former care facility operators, care managers, social workers, certified care workers, and financial planners, will provide neutral support tailored to individual circumstances.

To access the service, please open the "Saitama City Minna no App," click "See More" on the top page, and select "Kaigo Soudan WEB" under "Other" in the service menu.

Having a consultation point within an app used daily allows for early preparation in times of need, as well as easy access to support for reducing daily caregiving burdens and resolving issues quickly.

"Wellbio Omiya Consultation Room": A Face-to-Face Hub Connecting Digital to Real

In addition to the online consultations via smartphone and the convenient app-based consultations offered by Wellbio, we are opening "Wellbio Omiya Consultation Room" on July 1st to meet the needs of local residents who wish to "discuss matters in detail face-to-face while looking at materials."

The Omiya Consultation Room is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from the West Exit of Omiya Station, a major terminal station, making it easily accessible for visits after work or during shopping trips. The consultation rooms are fully private spaces designed with privacy in mind, allowing you to calmly discuss sensitive family matters, finances, and other concerns without worrying about being overheard.
