Sony Network Communications Inc., provider of the 'NURO' communication service brand, in collaboration with REJECT Inc., which operates the professional eSports team 'REJECT,' has participated in the 'Corporate Project,' an industry-academia collaboration system implemented by Kobe Koyo Design & Technology College and Fukuoka Design & Technology College. This initiative, now in its second year, aims to foster young talent for the next generation of the eSports and creative industries.
For the further development of eSports, the presence of creators who support players behind the scenes is as crucial as the professional players themselves. Through this project, 'NURO' provides students with practical education in an environment close to professional production sites, supporting the creators of the future.
In the 2025 project, students planned promotional videos based on given assignments, receiving direct advice from 'NURO' marketing staff and 'REJECT' members. Six teams from the Fukuoka and Kobe campuses participated, collaborating across different majors. After two months of presentations and evaluations, the finalists produced promotional videos featuring 'REJECT' streamer YAS. Students handled the entire process from planning and shooting to editing, honing their creativity and practical skills.
Through this project, students learned the importance of balancing creative expression with client-focused clarity. They also gained a professional perspective based on real-world production practices, such as shooting techniques that account for the editing process.
