Takumishuku will hold a special exhibition, 'Behind the Models,' starting June 19, in collaboration with Shizuoka's model manufacturers. The event offers opportunities to learn about and experience the plastic model manufacturing process, with an opening ceremony scheduled for June 20.

Sumpu no Kobo Takumishuku, located in Mariko, Suruga-ku, Shizuoka City (Representative: Hiroyasu Yamanashi, CEO of Sozosha Co., Ltd.), will hold a special exhibition titled 'Behind the Models' from Friday, June 19, to Monday, August 17, 2026. With the cooperation of various model manufacturers, the event will showcase the world of 'models/plastic models' that Shizuoka City, the 'World Capital of Models,' prides itself on.

To mark the opening, an opening ceremony and a briefing for the press will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Shizuoka Mayor Takashi Namba and Daisuke Aoshima, President of Aoshima Bunka Kyozaisha, which provided full cooperation for the exhibition. Additionally, the video production team behind the large-scale installation created specifically for this exhibition will participate to provide an overview of the exhibition and offer a tour of the Takumishuku facilities.
