SPACECOOL Receives Investment Prize at 'The Liveability Challenge 2026' in Singapore

SPACECOOL Inc. was selected as one of the top three companies out of over 1,500 applications from more than 100 countries and received the Investment Prize at 'The Liveability Challenge 2026,' a global sustainability initiative organized by the Temasek Foundation and operated by Eco-Business.

The Liveability Challenge (TLC) is a global initiative that evaluates innovative solutions for addressing urgent sustainability challenges in urban tropical regions.

SPACECOOL was the only Japanese company selected as a finalist in the 'Cool Earth' category, which focuses on addressing climate change and heat-related issues. At the grand finale held on May 20, 2026, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, the company delivered a final pitch for its cooling solution for tropical cities, leveraging its proprietary radiative cooling material, 'SPACECOOL,' and won the Investment Prize.

Experiencing firsthand the severity of the heat issues faced by Singapore and Southeast Asia, along with the commitment to addressing them, was impactful. Motivated by this award, SPACECOOL aims to use this as a trigger to implement sustainable cooling solutions in Southeast Asia and further accelerate efforts to improve heat-related challenges on a global scale.
