[Key Lecture Content]

The competitiveness of the battery industry is significantly influenced not only by cell performance and material technology but also by the overall manufacturing infrastructure, including manufacturing equipment, buildings, power facilities, procurement, and data integration. While Japan possesses high elemental technologies and quality, it faces international competitiveness challenges in terms of volume, speed, and cost due to individual optimization and long design/procurement lead times.

This lecture will provide an overview of the structural issues in the battery industry proposed by BASC, then focus on the manufacturing equipment industry, and introduce the direction of the Swiftfab concept as a solution through standardization, modularization, and integrated platform development.

1. Changes in the Business Environment Surrounding the Battery Industry

2. Structural Issues in the Battery Industry Proposed by BASC

3. Japan's Strengths and Weaknesses in the Manufacturing Equipment Industry

4. Fragmentation Issues Towards Manufacturing Infrastructure Integration

5. Solutions Through Standardization, Modularization, and Integrated Platform Development

6. Implementation Approach and Future Prospects with the Swiftfab Concept

7. Q&A / Business Card Exchange
