Program Results and Background STATION Ai, Inc. and PERSOL CAREER CO., LTD. have announced the results of the first cohort of the "Sales Engine Program," a paid sales support initiative for startups around the Series A stage residing at "STATION Ai," one of Japan's largest open innovation hubs.

The program was conducted for approximately four months starting November 25, 2025, with the aim of enhancing startups' ability to formulate and execute sales strategies. Six resident startups participated in the first cohort, achieving results such as increased business negotiations and closing rates, business alliances with external partners, establishment of sales organizations, and creation of corporate partnerships.

Based on these results, the second cohort will run for approximately four months starting July 1, 2026. In the second cohort, capacity will be expanded to 10 companies, and in addition to supporting the formulation and execution of sales strategies, the program will strengthen the creation of connection points with large enterprises and business development managers.

Common Sales Challenges for Startups and Solutions Analysis of the six companies in the first cohort revealed common challenges such as the person-dependence of sales activities, insufficient accuracy in CRM and deal management, lack of outbound strategies, and a lack of tailored proposal materials.

To address this, top-tier sales talent joined the participating companies' sites, providing support in visualizing sales processes, managing negotiations, and reconstructing sales materials.

First Cohort Case Study: CROSLAN, Inc. CROSLAN, Inc. operates the "SMILEVISA" SaaS. Through the program, they reorganized their sales strategies, designed enterprise sales strategies, and standardized their sales processes. As a result, in December 2025, they closed 10 deals in a single month, increased the number of business negotiations by 1.5 times, and improved their closing rate by over 10%.
