The "Sakuraso Festival 2026" will be held on Saturday, April 11, at Sakuraso Park (Tajimagahara Primrose Habitat) and the Urawa Station East Exit Civic Plaza. The Sakuraso Festival is held annually to coincide with the blooming season of the primroses in Tajimagahara. This year, both venues will be open for one day only, on Saturday.
At Sakuraso Park, there will be stage events featuring brass bands from local elementary schools and folk dancing, as well as popular inflatable play equipment for children and food and beverage sales from food trucks. At the Urawa Station East Exit Civic Plaza, there will be a primrose exhibition, primrose sales at cost, and a cultivation consultation corner.
The primroses at the Tajimagahara Primrose Habitat usually reach their peak in early April. We invite you to come to the Sakuraso Festival and enjoy the primrose, which is the official flower of Saitama City.
