Stockmark launched the 'Japanese Corporate Tacit Knowledge / Internal Data AI-Ready Project' with 16 major domestic companies. To commemorate this, they are releasing top leader interviews. The first part covers the Food and Daily Necessities sector, featuring Ajinomoto and Lion. At Ajinomoto, their proprietary generative AI adoption exceeds 80%. CDO Miro Smriga attributes this to reverse mentoring and small successes. The project inputs tacit knowledge from amino acid and food production centers into AI. Smriga emphasizes that AI expands wisdom, while humans should focus on asking questions and taking responsibility. Lion, aiming for 'predictive management,' uses AI for investment decisions in executive meetings. Executive Officer Norihiko Nakabayashi notes they are using the project to uncover true tacit knowledge—subtle habits in the field—after thorough digitalization. He stresses placing control points rather than leaving everything to AI.
