Stockmark Inc. is conducting the 'AI-Ready Project for Japanese Corporate Tacit Knowledge and Internal Data' in collaboration with 16 major Japanese companies, following its selection for the 'AI-Ready Business' under the 'GENIAC' project, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization).

To commemorate this project, Stockmark is releasing interviews with top leaders from these 16 major corporations on their AI utilization initiatives on a special website.

These interviews provide deep insights into current AI trends across industries and the reality of 'AI BPR' (Business Process Re-engineering), which redesigns business processes from the ground up. The interviews will be presented in five installments.

Part 2 focuses on 'Infrastructure, Plant, and Housing Equipment' (Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, JGC Holdings Corporation, and LIXIL Corporation), showcasing their advanced initiatives and the vision of their leadership.

1. Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings (TEPCO) - Engine of Change: 'Hope' over 'Crisis'. TEPC's Mr. Seki envisions a future where frontline workers coexist with AI. - With the surge in power demand, TEPCO is accelerating its 'AI Shift', moving beyond simple IT adoption. Executive Officer Mr. Seki emphasizes the necessity of 'AI BPR'—breaking down existing methods and redesigning them with GenAI as the foundation.

2. JGC Holdings Corporation - 'Our employees are our only unique asset': JGC's CDO talks about AI designed to keep people in the starring role. - At JGC, which operates in plant engineering, the focus is on utilizing AI to empower employees.
