Alpen Co., Ltd. will launch Golf 5-exclusive 'The Craft' series golf clubs, co-developed with Mizuno, on July 3, 2026. Pre-orders start June 5. Supervised by Mizuno craftsman Satake, the series introduces its first-ever irons alongside a 3rd-generation wedge. Designed with a 'New V-Sole' high-bounce profile (15° bounce for 7-iron, 25° for 58° wedge) and cut-away back, the sole prevents digging on steep downblows and dragging on level sweeps. The clubheads are made from mild steel with Grain Flow Forged HD technology and copper underplating for premium feel. The wedges feature Loft-Specific Grooves (Quad Cut Plus Grooves and Hydroflow Micro Grooves) to optimize spin under dry and wet conditions. Standard steel shafts are available at 26,400 to 39,600 JPY per club, with other options via custom orders. The clubs are available for testing and purchase at Golf 5 stores and online.
