To enrich children's summer experiences and cultivate diverse competencies, China Steel Corporation (CSC) partnered with CSC Carbon Chemical Company and the CSC Group Education Foundation to co-host the '115th CSC All-Round Wisdom King Summer Camp.' This year's theme, 'NEXT! Future Players' Full Potential Challenge,' was implemented by Siaogang Junior High School in Kaohsiung City, attracting 64 elementary school students from the Siaogang district. Through multidisciplinary courses in bilingual education, technology, arts, physical fitness, and board games, children developed confidence, teamwork, and global awareness through exploration and hands-on learning.

The camp offered a balanced mix of dynamic and static activities, including boxing fitness, board game strategy, English dance, English drama, and metal art creation, all taught by the teaching team from Siaogang Junior High School. Notably, the CSC Foundation specially designed the 'Metal Art Creation' course, using recycled materials to help children understand the importance of circular economy and resource reuse through hands-on crafting. Additionally, all courses incorporated bilingual instruction, enhancing students' English listening and speaking skills through interactive learning, while also fostering communication skills and expressive confidence through teamwork. Children enjoyed a joyful and engaging learning experience through play and challenges.

Siaogang Junior High School Principal Cheng Yuan-Shun expressed appreciation for CSC's long-term commitment to local education, noting that beyond promoting decarbonization and sustainability, the company consistently invests in educational resources, enabling children to expand their knowledge, broaden their horizons, and feel the corporate sector's dedication to education and community development. He extended gratitude to CSC, CSC Carbon Chemical, and the CSC Foundation for their continued support, which has provided Siaogang children with meaningful and inspiring summer learning opportunities.

Sun Hong-Kui, Director of CSC's Public Affairs Division, emphasized that education is a vital aspect of corporate social responsibility. He described the All-Round Wisdom King Summer Camp as a significant achievement in CSC's CSR efforts, aiming to unlock children's potential through diverse curricula, encourage exploration and joyful learning, and create memorable summer experiences.

Camp participants shared their learning experiences. One student noted that while boxing class was challenging, completing the training with peer encouragement brought a strong sense of achievement. Others mentioned that board game sessions improved strategic thinking, and English classes boosted their confidence in speaking English. Through gamified learning, children enhanced not only language skills but also collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

CSC reaffirmed its commitment to the principle of 'taking from society, giving back to society,' pledging to deepen educational initiatives and collaborate with schools and local communities to launch more innovative and sustainable learning programs. The company aims to support children in courageously pursuing their dreams and embracing a broader future.
