The Kaohsiung Apartment Building Management and Maintenance Business Association (Apartment Management Association), established nearly 30 years ago, has reached a significant milestone by officially purchasing its first permanent office as a hub for member services, education, training, and industry exchange. Association Chairperson Chen Yuan-Na also announced her intention to run in this year's election for Chairperson of the Kaohsiung Security Business Association, aiming to continuously promote the upgrading of the management and security industries and enhance overall competitiveness. Chen Yuan-Na: Advancing Industry Upgrading and Sustainable Development The Association stated that since its founding in Minguo Year 86 (1997), it had always operated from rented offices due to budget considerations. This month, it completed the purchase of a new office space of approximately 101 ping at the Acer Financial Plaza on Jianguo 1st Road in Lingya District, Kaohsiung City, for a total price of about NT$16.3 million. The space will serve as a key base for member services, professional seminars, education, training, and industry exchanges, symbolizing a new phase in the Association's development. Chen Yuan-Na stated that the acquisition of a permanent office is the result of the collective efforts of past chairpersons, board members, supervisors, and all members. It not only resolves the long-standing issue of renting office space but also represents the Association's progress toward institutionalization, stability, and sustainable operation. She also announced her candidacy for the next Chairperson of the Kaohsiung Security Business Association, hoping to continue the spirit of service, assist members in adapting to industry transformation, enhance the quality and professional image of security and building management services, further strengthen industry competitiveness, and plan to promote the future purchase of a permanent office for the Security Association to build a more solid foundation for development. The current Chairperson of the Kaohsiung Security Business Association, Chen Ji-Xiao, stated that in recent years, they have actively promoted the professionalization of the security industry. In addition to supporting the Apartment Management Association in acquiring its office, they have successfully secured approval to offer training courses for personnel serving in high-rise building disaster prevention centers, becoming the only security association among the six major cities to obtain such qualifications. This allows security personnel in Kaohsiung and southern Taiwan to receive professional training locally, reducing learning costs and enhancing the overall professional capacity of the industry. The Apartment Management Association stated that in the future, it will continue to strengthen member services, professional training, and cross-sector exchanges through its own office, working hand-in-hand with the security industry to promote professionalization and sustainable development and create a more competitive service environment.
