The Farnborough International Airshow, one of the world’s three major aerospace exhibitions, took place from July 20 to 26. HANHSIUNG, Taiwan’s leading aerospace company, successfully reached an agreement with Moog, a major U.S. aerospace systems manufacturer, on the second day of the event. Building on their existing partnership, both parties have extended the exclusive distribution rights held by HANHSIUNG’s U.S. subsidiary for Moog products in Taiwan through 2031. A formal contract renewal ceremony was conducted between HANHSIUNG and Moog’s Global Military Aftermarket Support division, marking a new phase in their collaborative relationship.

HANHSIUNG stated that its U.S. subsidiary has held exclusive distribution rights for Moog products in Taiwan since 2024, achieving outstanding performance during this period. Moog has highly recognized HANHSIUNG’s local integration capabilities, which directly contributed to the decision to extend the contract through 2031. This extended partnership is expected to provide stable operational momentum for HANHSIUNG’s business.

Moog’s military system components are primarily used by Taiwan’s military forces, deployed extensively on platforms such as the Brave Eagle advanced trainer and the Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF). Additionally, these components are utilized in F-16 fighter jets, S-70C anti-submarine helicopters, UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, AH-64 Apache attack helicopters, and CH-47 Chinook transport helicopters. Through new spares sales, repair and overhaul services, and technical support, HANHSIUNG delivers comprehensive maintenance support to ensure high fleet readiness rates for Taiwan’s military aviation units.

HANHSIUNG emphasized its core mission of “defending national defense,” stating that the extended distribution rights will strengthen repair capabilities and spare parts supply chains. The company aims to further expand cooperation into joint production and supply chain integration, delivering the highest quality products and technical services to Taiwan’s armed forces.

Moog expressed its appreciation for the long-term partnership with HANHSIUNG, highlighting the company’s critical support role in serving Taiwan’s customers. Moog looks forward to maintaining a close and collaborative relationship with HANHSIUNG.

HANHSIUNG reaffirmed that its U.S. subsidiary will continue to oversee sales and after-sales services, supported by technical guidance, inspection protocols, and engineering training provided by Moog’s headquarters. Leveraging its strengths in mass production, system integration, and U.S.-based manufacturing facilities, HANHSIUNG and Moog will explore additional mutually beneficial opportunities under their long-term strategic framework.
