Hurry Up and Store Water! Major Water Shutdown on July 27 Affects 12 Counties and Cities — 'No Water from Morning to Night' — Check Your Home's Outage Window with One Click

To comprehensively enhance regional water supply resilience, Taiwan Water Corporation announced that starting tomorrow (27th), pipeline improvement works will be carried out in selected areas of 12 counties and cities — New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Taichung City, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Nantou County, Chiayi County and City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, and Yilan County — resulting in phased water outages across these regions. Taiwan Water urges affected residents to complete water storage at least six hours before the outage and to manually switch off the power to water pumps during the outage to prevent motor overheating, damage, or fire hazards, ensuring household and water safety.
