Remember to Store Water! Taiwan Water Corporation has released the latest water outage information. Starting July 27, parts of 14 counties and cities—including New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Miaoli County, Yilan County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Nantou County, Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County—will experience scheduled water outages due to pipeline replacement, pipeline reconnection, leak investigation, fire hydrant installation, and coordination with power outages.

Among them, Shekou Village and Yiren Village in Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County, will face the longest outage duration, with water supply suspended for five consecutive days from July 27 to 31, daily from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (9 hours per day). Most other areas will experience single-day outages lasting 3 to 10 hours. Residents are advised to complete water storage at least 6 hours in advance and pay attention to the actual water cutoff and restoration times in their areas.

New Taipei City – July 27 Water Outage Schedule Pipeline replacement will be conducted on Shen’ao Road in Ruifang District to reduce leakage risks and improve local water supply stability. Outage Time: July 27, 10:00–13:00 (3 hours) Affected Area: Shen’ao Road, Ruifang District, New Taipei City

Taoyuan City – July 27 Water Outage Schedule 1 Pipeline connection work between the old and new user lines will be conducted at the intersection of Lexue Road and Changgeng Road in Guishan District, temporarily suspending water supply to parts of the road. Yunlin County – July 27 Water Outage Schedule 3 New-old pipeline connection work will be conducted in Haikou Village, Taixi Township. Water restoration is expected to begin at 18:00, with households at the end of the pipeline possibly not returning to normal pressure until around 19:00. Nantou County – July 27 Water Outage Schedule 1 Residential pipeline reconnection will be conducted during pipeline replacement on Wenxin Street in Jiji Township, temporarily suspending water supply in parts of Wenxin Street and Wenxin 8th Street. Nantou County – July 27 Water Outage Schedule 2 Due to coordination with Taiwan Power Company’s power outage work, Fuding 1st Road and Fengzilin Farm Road in Caotun Township will experience temporary water suspension. If weather conditions cause Taiwan Power to cancel the work, no outage will occur that day.
