On the evening of July 25, a serious terrorist attack occurred in Berlin, the capital of Germany. A 21-year-old man of Lebanese descent with German citizenship drove a white cargo truck into a crowd participating in the 'Christopher Street Memorial Day' (CSD) pride parade, then got out of the vehicle and stabbed passersby with a knife, resulting in one death and 29 injuries. After nearly 21 hours of a large-scale manhunt across multiple districts, the suspect was shot dead by police in a shootout with the police's Special Operations Unit (SEK) in a garden in the Spandau district of Berlin on the evening of July 26.
