Taiwan's stock market has recently suffered a sharp correction. Today (29th), it briefly plunged below the 40,000-point mark before slightly rebounding in the final session to close at 40,039 points, barely holding onto the psychological level. Many investors have fallen into panic amid the steep decline.

Guo Zhe-Rong, an analyst who previously pledged, 'I'll invest 100 million TWD in 0050 if the index drops below 40,000,' announced today that he is 'keeping his word.' He bought a total of 1,100 shares of 0050 and joked, 'Have you seen my watch? It's gone—I had to raise cash!'

During a live stream, Guo said, 'The Taiwan stock index dropped below 40,000 today. Will there be a bottom? But I, Guo Zhe-Rong, keep my promises—I said I'd buy 100 million in 0050, and I'm doing it.' When netizens asked, 'How did you come up with 100 million so quickly?' he patted his wrist and laughed, 'Can you see it? My watch has disappeared lately—I'm raising funds!'

### Buying 1,100 Shares of 0050: Guo Zhe-Rong Says the Crash Originated in Korean Memory Stocks

Guo also posted on Facebook, stating bluntly, 'The more it drops, the happier I am—today, I dumped 100 million New Taiwan dollars into buying 0050!' However, out of respect for regulatory authorities, he won't show his transaction statement, but the public can verify it themselves: he bought 601 shares at 93.45 TWD and 499 shares at 93.2 TWD through Yuanta Securities Banqiao branch, totaling 1,100 shares of 0050.

Guo pointed out that today's market crash was mainly driven by South Korean stocks. 'Circuit breakers in Korea aren't unusual, but this is the first time in history they've been triggered for two consecutive days.' Samsung fell 12%, and SK Hynix plunged 17%. He had already warned back in March: 'Whether Taiwan's market crashes depends on the mood of memory stocks,' because a memory downturn affects Korean stocks, which in turn impacts Taiwan—a full chain reaction.

### Bullish on 50,000 Points This Year, 100,000 in the Future! Guo Zhe-Rong: Focus on These Stocks

Guo stated frankly, 'But I'm not worried at all. I still believe Taiwan's stock market will hit 50,000 points this year and could challenge 100,000 points within four to five years.' If Taiwan's market ever soars to 100,000 points, he said, you'll realize that a few thousand-point pullback these days is insignificant.

Guo also highlighted a key point from today's drop: TSMC fell only 4%, less than the broader market's 5% decline—proof that AI isn't a bubble, just a valuation correction. 'Look at which stocks dropped the most—passive components. Yageo surged to 1,200 TWD with a P/E ratio as high as 60x. If it doesn't fall, who should?'

In contrast, Hon Hai was almost flat today because its P/E ratio is only 13x—there's simply no room to fall. 'I believe stocks with P/E ratios below 20x are worth your attention from now on.'
