The Control Yuan has decided to impeach former Minister Yang Chen-Ni for alleged workplace bullying against Yen Hui-Hsin, former Deputy Representative of the Trade Office, and has referred the case to the Disciplinary Court. In response, Executive Yuan spokesperson Lee Hui-Chih stated on the 29th: 'We respect the Control Yuan's exercise of authority under the law, and also respect the subsequent legal proceedings. The Executive Yuan respects all constitutional procedures and the final outcome concerning this case.'

Lee Hui-Chih added that the Executive Yuan is committed to continuously enhancing a supportive and psychologically safe work environment. She also acknowledged that, during the trade negotiation process, there remains room for improvement in the Trade Office's organizational structure, inter-ministerial coordination, and human resource allocation.

She noted that Premier Cho Jung-Tai has already approved the addition of six permanent civil servants last year to strengthen negotiation and policy coordination capacity. The Executive Yuan will continue to review overall organizational operations and staffing, incorporate public feedback, refine institutional design, and enhance the government's overall effectiveness in international trade negotiations and cross-ministerial coordination.
