The Chinese Taipei Baseball Association held its 14th 1st Members' Assembly and 14th 1st Council-Supervisory Joint Meeting on February 2 at Taipei Municipal Yucheng Senior High School, successfully completing the organizational renewal and electing new standing councilors and supervisors. Chou Ling-wen was ultimately elected as the 14th-term President, becoming the first female President in the association's history.

The Members' Assembly was attended by all members, who listened to reports on association affairs and related work, and conducted elections in accordance with regulations. The assembly elected representatives for the 14th term, along with 31 new councilors and 9 supervisors, laying a solid foundation for the future development of the association and the advancement of baseball in Taiwan. The entire election process proceeded smoothly and peacefully, fully reflecting members' respect for organizational systems and democratic procedures.

In the afternoon, the 14th 1st Council-Supervisory Joint Meeting was held, during which newly elected councilors and supervisors selected 9 standing councilors and 3 standing supervisors. Chou Ling-wen was then elected by the councilors as the 14th-term President. With all election procedures completed, the new council and supervisory team officially assumed office and will jointly undertake critical responsibilities, including association governance, event promotion, national team training and competition, and the development of baseball at all levels.

President Chou Ling-wen stated that she has served at CTBC Sports for four years and was inspired by Chairman Kuo's passion for baseball, which made her an integral part of the sport. She emphasized that she will serve as president in the role of a service manager, continuing the systems and goals established by Chairman Kuo, and will work alongside the new council and supervisors and senior leaders to dedicate herself to the advancement of Taiwan baseball.

In the face of rapidly evolving domestic and international baseball environments, the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association will continue to deepen grassroots baseball development, improve training systems for national teams at all levels, enhance the quality of domestic competitions, and actively pursue and host international events to create a more robust development environment for athletes. At the same time, the association will shoulder the important responsibility of promoting baseball in Taiwan and expanding international exchanges, uniting the baseball community to jointly usher in a new chapter for Taiwan baseball.
