Nyanko Daisensou Invades Huashan Town: Limited-Time Menu Brings Summer Cuteness

Cat lovers, get ready to revolt. Huashan Town Lounge by Lumen Taipei has partnered with the popular Japanese mobile game 'Nyanko Daisensou' to launch a limited-time event, 'LOUNGE Nyanko,' running from now until August 31. From cat-shaped gratin dishes and co-branded desserts to limited-edition mug drinks, the restaurant has been fully transformed with cat-themed photo walls and window decals, making fans feel as if they've stepped directly into the game world. The cat army has fully invaded—Huashan Town has become an ultra-cute photo hotspot. The event celebrates the 13th anniversary of 'Nyanko Daisensou' in Japan and its 11th anniversary in Taiwan. Huashan Town has specially combined its hotel mascot, Bao Bei, with popular in-game characters like Tank Cat to create limited-edition meals and collectible goods. The three main dishes include tomato cream chicken gratin, miso cream亲子 salmon gratin, and braised wagyu cheek curry. Each dish is topped with edible cat-shaped rice paper. From tangy tomato red sauce to savory miso cream and Japanese curry simmered with apples and chocolate, the menu is designed not only for Instagram-worthy photos but also to satisfy hunger. The most eye-catching limited item is the 'Cat Can Cake,' which brings an in-game item to life. Opening the can reveals a light cheesecake featuring Bao Bei and cat patterns. After enjoying the dessert, guests can take the can home as a collectible. The restaurant also offers Thai milk tea, peach non-alcoholic sparkling drink, and latte coffee. Ordering any of these designated drinks grants a 'Nyanko Daisensou' co-branded mug. The mugs are not for sale—only available as a gift, with only 130 sets available daily (one set per person) when paired with the Cat Can Cake, while supplies last. The 'Tank Cat Gold Bar Financier' is priced at NT$129. Inspired by the hotel’s former identity as a bank vault, this golden bar-shaped cake features Bao Bei and Tank Cat designs. In addition to limited items, the restaurant also launched the Tank Cat Gold Bar Financier, echoing Huashan Town’s history as a former bank warehouse. Shaped like gold bars and adorned with Bao Bei and Tank Cat patterns, this flavorful financier is another photogenic co-branded dessert perfect for collectors. Zhao Zhiqi, Chief of Brand Marketing and Public Relations at Lumen Hotel Group, stated that this collaboration aims to combine dining, character IPs, and collectible tableware to create a more interactive dining experience, targeting family and youth markets during the summer vacation.
