The Ministry of Finance has officially released the winning list for the May-June 115th year (2026) Uniform Invoice lottery. A total of 18 lucky invoices won the 10 million TWD grand prize, with winners spread across New Taipei City, Kaohsiung, and other regions. Winning transactions occurred at convenience stores, gas stations, and digital subscription platforms. One standout winner received the 10 million TWD jackpot from a mere 10 TWD delivery fee invoice. Another won by purchasing two lunchboxes at Liang She Han Pai Gu for just 60 TWD.

The redemption period begins on August 6. For those who have registered their cloud invoice carrier with an account, prize money will be automatically deposited, and stamp duty will be waived. The Ministry encourages the public to verify their invoice numbers and account settings.

Additionally, 22 winners each received the 200,000 TWD special prize. Eight of them won by purchasing beverages, with some spending only single-digit amounts. The Ministry has fully disclosed the purchase locations, cities, and transaction amounts for all winners.

For cloud invoices, 30 winners each received 1 million TWD. Three of these came from vehicle-related expenses totaling under 400 TWD. The most notable was a 40 TWD parking fee invoice—the lowest spending amount among million-dollar winners this period.

The redemption deadline for the 1 million TWD cloud invoice prizes is November 5. Winners with auto-deposit accounts set up will receive funds starting August 6, without needing to claim in person or pay stamp duty.

The Uniform Invoice has been part of Taiwanese life for over 70 years. In its early days, the government even produced a catchy promotional song to encourage invoice collection. Traditional long-form invoices also contain a visible anti-counterfeiting feature applied by the tax authority—so subtle that even long-time users often overlook it.

The term 'Uniform' in 'Uniform Invoice' does not carry political meaning. It reflects the historical development of Taiwan's tax system, emphasizing standardized, nationwide invoice management.

One netizen analyzed two years of invoice data and discovered that certain spending categories had higher winning rates, winning the 500 TWD prize four times in a row. Others confirmed similar strategies, with one person winning 10,000 TWD using a simple method.

However, some users report feeling less lucky since switching to cloud invoices. One person saved 203 cloud invoices but won nothing, claiming they used to win at least one 200 TWD prize per period manually. Experts suggest the perceived drop in luck isn't due to the carrier system itself, but rather increased competition from higher participation rates.
