Nantou County Magistrate Hsu Shu-Hua attended the annual general meeting of the Nantou County Land Registrars Association on the morning of the 6th. In her speech, Magistrate Hsu expressed her highest respect to Chairman Chien Szu-Hui, the board and supervisory team, and all land registrars, acknowledging Chairman Chien's dedicated leadership during his term, including the successful acquisition of an association hall and enhanced member cohesion that enabled smooth operations.

She also extended her expectations to incoming Chairperson Wu Pei-Chen and the new board and supervisory team, urging them to build upon past achievements, ensure continued growth, and lead the association in delivering professional services to its members.

Hsu emphasized that land registrars have long stood on the front lines, assisting citizens with various real estate registration and surveying procedures through professional service. In recent years, the real estate market has evolved rapidly, with fraud cases emerging frequently and tactics becoming increasingly sophisticated, posing serious threats to citizens’ financial security.

As frontline professionals, land registrars are often the most trusted experts during real estate transactions and serve as essential gatekeepers in preventing fraud. To safeguard real estate transaction security, the county government has continuously promoted anti-fraud policies and public awareness campaigns. Hsu expressed gratitude for the Land Registrars Association’s support and collaboration, highlighting multiple community-based anti-scam initiatives conducted across Nantou, Caotun, Puli, and Zhushan, working hand-in-hand with the county to remind citizens and strengthen safeguards, ensuring safer transactions and better protection of assets.

Magistrate Hsu further noted that the county has been advancing smart land administration and digital governance, including initiatives such as the Nantou Smart Land Spatial Service Network (IG660) and the Real-Time Land Registry Change Notification system—convenient services designed to enhance administrative efficiency through information technology, strengthen risk early-warning mechanisms, and provide citizens with more convenient and secure access to services.

The success of these initiatives depends heavily on the support and cooperation of land registrars to achieve maximum impact. Going forward, the county government will continue to uphold the spirit of 'public-private collaboration and joint efforts,' maintaining close cooperation with the association to promote smart land administration, citizen-friendly services, and real estate transaction security, jointly building Nantou into a more transparent, secure, and trustworthy environment for real estate transactions.
