To celebrate its 80th anniversary, the Taipei World Trade Association (IEAT) held its inaugural Sustainable Co-Good Carnival today at the Taipei Hakka Cultural Theme Park. The event brought together representatives from the American, Czech, Hungarian, Bruneian, Nigerian, Japanese, Polish, and South Korean institutions in Taiwan, along with over 1,000 member companies and their families. The venue featured musical performances, food trucks, a member enterprise market, family-friendly interactive experiences, and a raffle, creating a lively and heartwarming atmosphere.

Mayor Chiang Wan-an praised IEAT for its long-standing support in helping Taiwanese businesses expand into international markets and for being a key partner in connecting Taipei to the global stage. He noted that the city government recently co-hosted the second Taipei Urban Industry Business Matching Conference with IEAT, inviting 20 U.S. state governments to focus on industries such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, robotics, smart healthcare, and drones. The city plans to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism between Taiwanese and American cities.

Mayor Chiang also commended IEAT’s nearly half-century dedication to charitable activities, including consistent material donations and support for children and vulnerable families, transforming trade achievements into social support. He emphasized that the city government continues to promote policies such as providing fresh milk to schoolchildren, offering free nutritious lunches in public elementary and secondary schools, and creating family-friendly workplaces to reduce parental burdens and build a happier, more livable Taipei.

Chiang stressed that the city will continue to collaborate with IEAT to promote industrial development and international exchange, while ensuring that the benefits of urban progress reach more people in need.
