International online booking platforms like Agoda, Booking.com, and Hotels.com cannot be used. The Tourism Bureau will select 1,000 birthday recipients each month, each eligible for 1,200 NTD in birthday accommodation subsidies. From September 1 to December 31, 2026, these can be used on any day of the month of your birthday and can be combined with weekday accommodation subsidies. If you have both the birthday accommodation subsidy and choose to stay for two consecutive nights on a weekday, you can receive up to 3,200 NTD in subsidies for mainland accommodations (1,200 NTD for birthday + 800 NTD for the first night + 1,200 NTD for the second night). The corporate employee group travel subsidy must be organized by a travel agency, with each group requiring at least 30 people and a minimum of 2 days and 1 night. The itinerary's holidays (Saturday and Sunday) cannot exceed 1 day. The subsidy amount is 20,000 NTD per company, directly deductible from the group fee. The organizing travel agency must submit company registration proof, employee trip list, itinerary, and accommodation invoices to the Tourism Bureau for reimbursement. The travel agency can also receive an additional 10,000 NTD in marketing incentives per group, with a maximum of 10 groups per travel agency.
