"Feathered Glory, Dual Gold Sustainability": Land Bank's 80th Anniversary Badminton Special Exhibition

Marking the 80th anniversary of Land Bank (hereinafter "Land Bank") and the 50th anniversary of the Land Bank Badminton Team, a special exhibition titled "Feathered Glory, Dual Gold Sustainability" will be held from September 1 to November 25 at the Art Corridor of the Head Office.

Centered on the theme "The Arc of Time, The Trajectory of Flight," the exhibition revisits Land Bank's five-decade journey of deep commitment to badminton, nurturing elite athletes through historical artifacts, player stories, and interactive experiences. In response to the National Development Council's Archives Administration's emphasis on historical documentation, the exhibition integrates archival materials to highlight key stories from the team's history, underscoring the value of these precious records.

The exhibition is organized into three main themes:

Takeoff Point: The Badminton Seeds of the 1970s

This section takes visitors back to 1976, the year the Land Bank Badminton Team was founded. It features official documents, historical photographs, wooden badminton rackets, early team uniforms, and championship banners, illustrating the team's journey from humble beginnings to steady growth.

The Golden Generation and the Cradle of National Athletes

This segment highlights Land Bank's long-standing promotion of school-enterprise collaboration, gradually establishing a comprehensive development system from junior high, high school, and university levels to the corporate team. Through player interviews, training records, and lifestyle footage, visitors gain insight into athletes' off-court dedication and Land Bank's sustained efforts in athlete development and badminton promotion.

The Glory of the Summit: From Land Bank to the World's Highest Stage

Focusing on the Land Bank Badminton Team's outstanding achievements in top-tier international competitions such as the Asian Games, World Championships, and the Olympics, this section displays representative medals, trophies, and commemorative items. Highlights include two Olympic gold medals won by Wang Chi-lin, Olympic game jerseys, and shoes, recreating pivotal moments when Land Bank athletes stood on the global stage, bringing honor to Taiwan. Land Bank will continue to invest in badminton talent development, supporting more outstanding athletes in pursuing their dreams.

The exhibition also features a photo interaction zone, showcasing images of outstanding badminton players nurtured by Land Bank. Visitors can freely select their favorite players and take creative photos through fun interactive methods, creating personalized mementos.

The "Feathered Glory, Dual Gold Sustainability" special exhibition is open free of charge from September 1 to November 25, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays (closed on weekends and national holidays). Limited-edition commemorative gifts will be available during the exhibition period, and surprise pop-up events featuring players such as Lin Chun-i, Wang Chi-lin, and Chiu Hsiang-chieh will be held periodically (details to be announced on Land Bank's official fan page).
