Unisex Wear Brand 'STRAIGHT EDGE' Debuts

SXE Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo / CEO: Kazuya Hiroe) will launch the unisex wear brand 'STRAIGHT EDGE' on April 3.

This brand consists of two lines: a core line that offers standard items, and a collection line. The core line will be announced online on April 3, and the collection line will be presented in a fashion show format on April 13, 2026.

Background of the Brand Launch Representative Hiroe has built a career of over 30 years in the beauty industry, and while operating the hair salon 'NORA' for about 19 years, he has pursued the possibilities of expression beyond the boundaries of hair and makeup. As part of these expressive activities, Akihiro Nishino was welcomed as the CNO (Chief Narrative Officer) responsible for the brand's philosophy and story design, launching the fashion brand 'STRAIGHT EDGE'.

Prior to the full-scale rollout, a pre-collection of T-shirts, hoodies, and caps was sold in November 2025, selling 1,700 items in about two weeks. Following this strong response, the brand is now officially launching its full-scale operations.

What is STRAIGHT EDGE? STRAIGHT EDGE is a unisex wear brand with a background in street culture. Inspired by the functionality of military wear, it has been reconstructed as streetwear for 'fighting' in urban life.

The brand name derives from an ideology born from hardcore punk culture. 'Straight Edge' is a value system that emerged as an antithesis to hedonistic lifestyles involving alcohol and drugs, and is one of the core ideologies of punk culture. Against this ideological background, the brand was conceived starting from the idea of 'seriously overturning concepts through fashion'.

The designer XENØ, featuring a dinosaur motif, was established as a symbol of this. By symbolizing 'dinosaurs' that existed before human society's values and rules were born, fashion is redefined from a perspective unbound by existing frameworks. The creation is handled by a design team led by XENØ.

Brand Structure of Straight Edge STRAIGHT EDGE is deployed in two lines: the standard core line and the collection line.

### CORE LINE Composed of items that are easy to incorporate into daily life, such as simple T-shirts, hoodies, and caps. The first installment, marking the debut collection, will be available for pre-order on the online store starting April 3, and released on April 13.
