Tsuji Shintaro Memorial Museum Inc. (Representative Director: Shintaro Tsuji) held an opening ceremony at the 'Yamanashi Strawberry King Museum - Sanrio Founder Shintaro Tsuji Memorial Museum' (hereinafter referred to as the Yamanashi Strawberry King Museum), which opened in Kai City, Yamanashi Prefecture on Friday, April 3, 2026.

The Yamanashi Strawberry King Museum was created as a gift to Sanrio character fans from Shintaro Tsuji, the Yamanashi-born founder of Sanrio, and the Sanrio character 'Strawberry King', embodying the wish of 'Getting Along Together.' It is a museum featuring various exhibits where visitors can learn about the history of Sanrio's early days, characters, merchandise, and the Strawberry News, which have not been publicly discussed until now.

At the opening ceremony held on the opening day, Shintaro Tsuji gave a greeting, and Tomokuni Tsuji (Director of Tsuji Shintaro Memorial Museum Inc. / President and CEO of Sanrio Co., Ltd.), Mr. Kotaro Nagasaki, Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, and Mr. Takeshi Hosaka, Mayor of Kai City, also took the stage.
