koe donuts offers "Donut Melt," a new sensation where freshly made donuts are eaten with a knife and fork, along with approximately 30 types of regular donuts using six different doughs, under the keywords "organic," "natural," and "local production for local consumption." Furthermore, as the store is located in Kyoto, a Japanese tourist destination, seasonal limited menus are also offered.
This year, koe donuts' popular shaved ice, which has been well-received every year, has been updated to a flavor that further enhances the appeal of its ingredients. We have prepared a total of three types, luxuriously using carefully selected ingredients.
The lineup includes "Kōri Nerunyu" (Carefully Selected Condensed Milk), which allows you to enjoy the gentle sweetness and milky flavor of homemade condensed milk slowly simmered from Miyama milk from Kyoto; "Zeitaku Ichigo" (Luxurious Strawberry), with the sweet and sour taste of homemade strawberry syrup bursting with fresh fruitiness; and "Nōkō Matcha" (Rich Matcha), an adult flavor luxuriously using rich organic matcha. Additionally, toppings such as "Yude Azuki" (Boiled Red Bean), "Kuromitsu Shiratama" (Black Sugar Syrup with Mochi Balls), and "Cheese Whip Cream" are available, as well as double syrup where you can combine two of your favorite syrups, allowing for free combinations.
Furthermore, starting Monday, June 15, we will be selling a gift box of original financier donuts, baked slowly using dough made with free-range eggs and organic flour. You can enjoy the plain financier donut, fragrant with rich browned butter and coarsely ground almond powder, and the chocolate financier donut, kneaded with cocoa powder, where the texture and aroma of chocolate chips are exquisite. With a wide variety of combinations to choose from, they are also recommended as gifts.
