Succeed Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Takagi; hereinafter "Succeed") has been awarded a learning support project by Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture, targeting 5th and 6th graders and junior high school students residing in the city.

This project will provide individual learning support by external instructors, as well as internet-based learning support utilizing "School AI," an education-focused generative AI platform provided by Mingaku Inc., a group company of Succeed.

Through this initiative, we aim to improve academic performance by providing learning opportunities tailored to each child's understanding and challenges, promoting self-directed learning, overcoming weaknesses in subjects or areas, and fostering home study habits.

Background of the Contract

The period from upper elementary school to junior high school is a crucial time when learning content becomes more advanced and strengths and weaknesses in each subject tend to become clearer. Furthermore, daily learning habits and the establishment of home study routines significantly influence subsequent academic development and career choices.

On the other hand, students' learning situations vary individually, and the points where they struggle and the support they need are also diversifying. To address these challenges, it is important to have a system for individually optimized learning that utilizes ICT and AI, in addition to careful face-to-face learning support.

Succeed will leverage its expertise in operating educational services and human resource services in the education and welfare fields to promote this project, enabling children in Neyagawa City to learn with peace of mind and develop the ability to engage in learning independently.

Project Overview

This project will be implemented for 5th and 6th graders and junior high school students residing in Neyagawa City, combining individual learning support by external instructors with internet-based learning support.

Support by external instructors will include reviewing school lessons, assisting with homework, confirming areas of difficulty, and preparing for regular tests, according to the students' learning progress.

Internet-based learning support will utilize "School AI," an education-focused generative AI platform provided by Mingaku Inc. "School AI" is a generative AI platform specifically designed, developed, and operated for educational settings.

This will support students in developing the habit of continuous learning by allowing them to study at their own pace and confirm areas they don't understand.

Target Audience: 5th and 6th graders and junior high school students residing in Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture Implementation Details: Individual learning support by external instructors, internet-based learning support utilizing School AI Objectives: Promotion of self-directed learning, overcoming weaknesses in subjects/areas, formation of home study habits, academic improvement

Features of Support Utilizing "School AI"

"School AI" is developed as an educational platform where teachers nationwide can use and create educational apps.

In this project, "School AI" will be used to support students in deepening their understanding of learning content as they progress through their studies independently. By combining human support from external instructors with AI-powered learning support, we will create an environment that makes it easier to continue learning not only during face-to-face support sessions but also during home study and self-directed learning.

This aims to foster children's ability to think, research, confirm, and relearn on their own, rather than just being taught.

Succeed's Role

In this project, Succeed will be responsible for the overall operation of learning support, placement and management of external instructors, providing individual learning support to students, and implementing internet-based learning support utilizing "School AI."

By combining our know-how in securing and managing instructors cultivated in the education field with the educational AI technology of our group company, Mingaku, we will provide a learning support model that leverages both human and digital support.

Future Outlook

Through this project, Succeed aims to contribute to the enrichment of learning opportunities and academic improvement for students in Neyagawa City.

Moving forward, we will continue to pursue ways of providing learning support that expands the potential of each child by combining meticulous support from educational personnel with the utilization of AI and ICT specialized for the education field.
