The NPO Suma Universal Beach Project will host a universal beach event at Shirarahama Beach on July 4th, featuring beach mats and amphibious wheelchairs for those who need assistance.

Background Since 2021, Shirarahama has held annual universal beach events to ensure accessibility. This year, the project is recruiting both participants for the sea experience and volunteers interested in learning support techniques.

Experience Session ・Date/Time: July 4, 2026 (Sat) 10:30-15:30 ・Location: Shirarahama Beach ・Eligibility: People with disabilities or those needing assistance to go to the beach.

Training Session ・Preliminary Study: June 22 (Mon) 10:00-12:00 (Shirahama Town Hall/Zoom) ・Practice: July 4 (Sat) 9:00-10:00 (Shirarahama Beach)
