Socioak SEED BASE Nagatoro Genki Plaza (managed by Sun Amenity) will host an experiential disaster preparedness program titled "In Case of Emergency: Nagatoro Genki Plaza Shelter Experience" from Saturday, June 6, to Sunday, June 7, 2026.

This initiative is not just a disaster drill, but a social education program for families designed to cultivate the skills to transform the inconvenient environment of an evacuation center into a space that can be managed by one's own efforts. Participants will learn "truly useful disaster prevention" through workshops led by disaster prevention specialists, setting up shelter stations using actual stockpiled materials, and cooking demonstrations based on traditional Nagatoro food.
