Sundai Education Center Co., Ltd., which operates Sundai Gen-eki Frontier, and Sundai Preparatory School (hereafter, Sundai) will establish new classes for junior high school students at Sundai Gen-eki Frontier Saidaiji School (Nara City, Nara Prefecture) and open a new 7th-grade class at Sundai Preparatory School Omiya School (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) starting from April 2026.

In recent years, as the educational environment has become more advanced and diversified, there has been a growing demand for learning geared towards university entrance exams starting from the junior high school stage. In response to these learning needs, Sundai Gen-eki Frontier will strengthen its integrated learning guidance system that looks ahead from junior high school to post-high school graduation goals, in addition to providing university entrance exam guidance for high school students.

Saidaiji School

Saidaiji, Nara City, is an area known for having one of the highest levels of interest in junior and senior high school entrance exams in the Kansai region. There is a demand for early-stage foundational and applied learning that accommodates a wide range of options, including national, public, and private integrated junior-senior high schools. At the Saidaiji School, the six years of junior and senior high school are positioned as a seamless period of learning for university entrance exams, and we will offer classes in the two subjects of English and mathematics to acquire and strengthen logical thinking.

Omiya School *Scheduled for gradual expansion

In Omiya, the number of students taking junior high school entrance exams is on the rise due to the growing popularity of private junior high schools, creating one of the leading competitive environments in the metropolitan area. It is anticipated that the need for learning with an eye toward university entrance exams will further increase in the future. The first class to open is a math class, which requires step-by-step cumulative learning that does not rely on memorization.
