Okayama-based Western confectionery manufacturer, Sunlavieen Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sato-cho, Asakuchi-gun, Okayama Prefecture; Representative: Morihiro Urabe), will launch two seasonal limited-edition products, "Setouchi Lemon Waffle" and "Setouchi Lemon Cake," leveraging the blessings of Setouchi, starting May 2026 at supermarkets nationwide.

These products are sweets that can be enjoyed comfortably in early summer, characterized by the gentle acidity and refreshing flavor of Setouchi lemon juice. Lemons nurtured in the mild climate of Setouchi are appealing for their mellow acidity and fragrant, fresh flavor, which enhances the light taste. We offer two types, a fluffy light cake and a moist waffle, creating a lineup that is easy to incorporate into daily life.

Individually packaged, they are easy to share, making them convenient for family snacks, tea sweets for guests, a little break at work, or casual souvenirs. The packaging is unified with a common lemon pattern, gently adding a seasonal touch to everyday life in stores. We propose just the right refreshing taste for daily snack time.

This is a refreshing lemon-flavored Belgian waffle using Setouchi lemon juice and zest. Belgian granular sugar is kneaded in, adding a moderate sweetness and textural accent. 100% of the lemon ingredients used are from Setouchi.
