"Seiko Summer Jazz Camp" 10th Anniversary Special Concert - A One-Night-Only Special Concert to be Held at I'M A SHOW in Yurakucho on Sunday, August 16th

From a place that creates the future of jazz, to a special stage for the 10th anniversary―――

Seiko Summer Jazz Camp started in 2016 as a development program for young Japanese jazz musicians and has since produced many musicians who will carry the next generation of the jazz scene.

This year marks the 10th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, a one-night-only special concert will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at I'M A SHOW in Yurakucho.

Please enjoy a special stage by young musicians who are enlivening the Japanese jazz scene.

Program

Part 1 A special combo performance by representative members of the jazz camp alumni, “Seiko Jazz Campers”. Alto Sax: Riko Sasaki, Rei Kaneko Piano: Otohito Fuse, Bass: Riku Takahashi, Drums: Kaito Nakamura

Part 2 Miho Hazama, a New York-based internationally active composer, arranger, and conductor, will serve as an instructor for the newly established composition and arrangement course this year. Hazama, who has been a topic of conversation for her nomination for Best Instrumental Composition at the 68th Grammy Awards for her piece "Live Life This Day: Movement I," will conduct a special stage by the alumni big band, “Seiko Jazz Campers Orchestra”.
