SUS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; President and CEO: Kimio Saito; hereinafter "SUS") has established a 3D digital twin platform at Daikin Industries, Ltd.'s (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; President, CEO, and COO: Naifumi Takenaka) global training facility, "Daikin Ares Manai" (Tottori City), which links with actual applied training equipment to replicate changes inside piping systems in real time.

Background of the Initiative

While air conditioning systems have become increasingly sophisticated, on-site training has faced the following challenges:

● Difficulty in intuitive understanding: Although numerical monitoring is possible, it is difficult to grasp the entire system intuitively from an overview.

● High barriers to technical succession: Reproducing malfunctions and understanding operational behavior require years of experience and time.

● Underutilization of data: Mechanisms to intuitively and three-dimensionally apply collected IoT data to training are underdeveloped.

To address these challenges, SUS has developed a practical training system that recreates real equipment conditions in a 3D virtual space and integrates them with accumulated data for effective use.

Key Features: An Interactive Digital Twin

To enhance training and operational efficiency, the system implements the following functions:

1. Real-Time Synchronization Between Physical Equipment and Virtual Space (Bidirectional Control)

The system continuously collects operational data from equipment and visualizes it in 3D space. It also instantly reflects operations from the application to the actual equipment. This enables practical hands-on training where the physical and digital worlds are interconnected.

2. Intuitive Understanding Through Visualization of 'Invisible' Information

The system visually represents internal equipment conditions—such as fluid flow, temperature, pressure changes, and operational status—that are normally difficult to observe. This allows even inexperienced technicians to intuitively understand the behavior of complex machinery.

Future Outlook

This digital twin platform is designed not only for training but also for advanced equipment management in operational settings and as a foundation for technical knowledge transfer from experienced personnel. Going forward, SUS will continue to support human resource development and on-site problem-solving for manufacturing and other industries through digital technology-based solutions.

About SUS Co., Ltd.

SUS Co., Ltd. focuses on technical outsourcing services in fields such as IT, machinery, electrical, electronics, and chemistry. All of our engineers are full-time employees, and we provide services through three models: in-house contract development, on-site project-based contracting at client companies, and personnel dispatch. Additionally, we were among the first to develop AR/VR technologies for business applications, successfully commercializing them as a new pillar of our business. With industrial R&D accelerating globally toward practical implementation, many companies are now consulting with us, recognizing SUS as a leader in the AR/VR domain.
