77th Shimizu Minato Festival: Call for Participants in Free Shimizu Port Cruise

Suzu & Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka City; President and CEO: Kenichiro Suzuki; hereinafter "the Company") will operate a sightseeing cruise aboard the Bay Promenade on the afternoon of Friday, July 31, in conjunction with the 77th Shimizu Minato Festival. The cruise will be held twice—first from 5:00 PM and second from 6:00 PM—and a total of 300 participants will be invited free of charge through a lottery. The approximately 40-minute cruise will depart from and return to Hinode Pier, touring the inner waters of Shimizu Port.

Enjoy a 40-minute cruise around Shimizu Port, featuring live commentary by S-Wave radio personalities introducing the port.

Thursday, July 9, 2026 – Monday, July 20, 2026 (National Holiday)

【Number of Participants】

・ 150 participants per cruise, totaling 300

・ Up to 6 people per group may apply. (Note: Preschool children count as one participant.)

【Selection Method】

Participants will be selected through a fair and transparent lottery.

【Notification of Results】

Only successful applicants will be notified via the email address provided during registration.

Winners will be notified by email; no notification will be sent to unsuccessful applicants.

Please note this in advance.

Results will be announced on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

【Notes】

・ The event will proceed in light rain but will be canceled in the event of severe weather.

In case of cancellation, an announcement will be posted on the company’s official website by noon on the day.

・ Due to vessel maintenance, the sailing ship Ocean Princess will not be in operation this year. Please note this in advance.
